Estimation and Analysis of the Capital Stock Trend in Iran’s Manufacturing Industries.

The introduction of the report states:

"Conducting research on the estimation of production and cost functions, as well as the measurement and analysis of productivity—both at the macroeconomic level and at the sectoral level, including the industrial sector—and studies of economic growth, fundamentally requires access to capital stock data. It is evident that the lack of capital stock statistics across various sectors and economic activities presents a significant obstacle for applied research, which in turn hampers economic policymakers in making sound and informed decisions."

The findings of this research may be of use to scholars, research institutions, and governmental bodies such as the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade; the Presidency and the Economic Commission of the Government; the Plan and Budget Organization of Iran; and the Chamber of Industries and Mines.

It is worth noting that this research report was prepared by Ali Akbar Khosravinejad under the Research Group on Modern Systems of Planning, Budgeting, and Modeling. The report comprises 32 pages.
