"Today, the issue of household and social welfare is significant not only from an economic perspective but also from political and social standpoints. Almost all economists consider one of the primary objectives of government to be the maintenance and enhancement of household welfare. To increase and sustain the level of social welfare, two key variables must be considered: first, the level of household welfare as the driver of welfare; and second, the distribution of income among households. Consequently, in various societies, supporting vulnerable groups and improving income distribution has consistently been a concern for policymakers, legislators, and governments. The present study aims to estimate and analyze the trends in the welfare status of urban and rural households over the past two decades."
